Leadership Conference 2027: Leading in a Changing Landscape - Non Residential Package Including Evening Meal
Following the success of our 2026 conference, feedback from across the Inspiring Leaders partnership has shaped the direction of our 2027 event.
A clear pattern has emerged: while leaders remain deeply committed to inclusion, equity and belonging, there is a growing need to broaden the lens. This conference will focus more explicitly on leading within complexity and will provide practical, strategic insight for leaders navigating rapidly changing educational and societal conditions.
Why this theme?
Responding to a changing system
Leaders across our trusts are working within an increasingly complex landscape, including financial pressures, rising SEND demand, attendance challenges, workforce sustainability, growing accountability, and rapid technological and societal change.
This conference recognises these realities and provides space for strategic thinking, reflection and practical learning.
Maintaining moral purpose
Inclusion and disadvantage remain central to our work, alongside a strong moral purpose for leadership. At the same time, this conference moves beyond overly abstract language to focus on leadership in practice — including organisational culture, opportunity, and intelligent system design.
Broadening perspectives
The programme will bring together a diverse range of voices, including school and trust leaders, system and policy experts, researchers, and speakers exploring changes in childhood, identity and society. This ensures a rich, relevant and forward-thinking experience.
