Session Details

At this session, we will take a forward-looking perspective on professional development, exploring the implications of the new Schools White Paper and what it may mean for CPD strategy over the next five years. As leaders of professional learning, this is an important opportunity to reflect together on how national direction should shape our thinking, planning and reporting.

Alongside this, we will focus on two priority areas identified in our previous session:

• Mapping CPD pathways for non-teaching staff – designing coherent and meaningful development routes for colleagues in professional services roles.

• Cross-phase equity in collaboration – ensuring high-quality professional learning across EYFS, primary, secondary, post-16 and specialist contexts.

As always, this will be a discussion-led session. The strength of this community lies in professional candour and collective problem-solving, so colleagues are encouraged to come ready to share examples of practice and reflections from their own context.
