Session Details
Badgerbrook Primary School has been on a rapid and purposeful improvement journey since joining Discovery Schools Academy Trust two years ago. Leaders and staff at Badgerbrook live out an Ethic of Excellence, striving to be the very best they can be so that every pupil develops the skills, knowledge, and confidence needed to succeed in life.
The school was inspected under the new framework in November 2025. Inspectors recognised the unwavering determination of leaders to place inclusion at the heart of all practice, ensuring that every child is supported to succeed. They noted that “the school is making a sustained, positive difference to the educational experiences of disadvantaged pupils”, judging Badgerbrook to have achieved a strong standard in inclusion.
Leaders are clear that there is still work to do to ensure consistently strong practice across the school so that all children can achieve excellence. They have a clear understanding of next steps and are ambitious in driving further improvement, supported by Discovery Schools Academy Trust and collaborative partnerships, including Inspiring Leaders.
