Event overview
Focused online support for Year 6 practitioners
As the KS2 SATs period approaches, Year 6 teams are juggling high expectations with the everyday realities of classroom life.
Designed to supplement our face to face programme, these sessions are a flexible way to access the same expert input wherever you're based. Each one has a single, clear focus, giving you the chance to go deeper on a specific area of KS2 SATs preparation without it taking you away from school for long.
It's part of a growing regional programme building on last year's KS2 SATs Support Network, which brought Year 6 teachers and leaders together for expert input, practical guidance and the reassurance of knowing you're not tackling this alone.
Join Karen Stevenson, Executive Head, Stanwick Primary School and Woodford C of E Primary and Nursery School, and Chloe Neild from NENE Education Trust as they share the key elements of a highly successful Year 6 network. This practical webinar will explore effective year-long planning, including timetabling, gap analysis, targeted interventions, and skilful marking approaches to secure greater depth outcomes. Delegates will also gain access to proven tracking systems for vulnerable groups, including SEND, Pupil Premium and EAL pupils, and discover how robust monitoring can drive progress and improve attainment for all learners.
