Event overview
Focused online support for Year 6 practitioners
As the KS2 SATs period approaches, Year 6 teams are juggling high expectations with the everyday realities of classroom life.
Designed to supplement our face to face programme, these sessions are a flexible way to access the same expert input wherever you're based. Each one has a single, clear focus, giving you the chance to go deeper on a specific area of KS2 SATs preparation without it taking you away from school for long.
It's part of a growing regional programme building on last year's KS2 SATs Support Network, which brought Year 6 teachers and leaders together for expert input, practical guidance and the reassurance of knowing you're not tackling this alone.
Join Nicola Gough, Principal and Lauren Barton, Deputy Headteacher at St Mary’s C of E Primary School, Lincolnshire, as she shares a practical case study on strengthening provision for disadvantaged learners, including those eligible for FSM, Pupil Premium, and SEND support. Explore how high-quality teaching, effective group provision, and targeted interventions can improve engagement, accelerate progress, and raise outcomes for a diverse range of pupils. Ideal for school leaders and practitioners seeking practical strategies that can be applied in their own settings.
