Event overview
Focused online support for Year 6 practitioners
As the KS2 SATs period approaches, Year 6 teams are juggling high expectations with the everyday realities of classroom life.
Designed to supplement our face to face programme, these sessions are a flexible way to access the same expert input wherever you're based. Each one has a single, clear focus, giving you the chance to go deeper on a specific area of KS2 SATs preparation without it taking you away from school for long.
It's part of a growing regional programme building on last year's KS2 SATs Support Network, which brought Year 6 teachers and leaders together for expert input, practical guidance and the reassurance of knowing you're not tackling this alone.
Amy Storer, Leadership, Inclusion & Behaviour Specialist, celebrates the principles of NASEN and explores how to embed the highest aspirations for SEND and disadvantaged learners. This session revisits key learning from the three mini face to face workshops, showcasing practical one-page guides and structured approaches that support educators in creating the conditions for success. Reflect on the adaptations already implemented, evaluate their impact, and identify priorities for the Spring term to drive even greater outcomes for all learners.
