CEO and Education Directors Connect Day

The CEO and Education Directors Connect Day brings together executive leaders and School Improvement Leads from across the partnership to think collectively about the challenges and opportunities facing MAT leadership today - from system improvement and governance to policy developments and trust-wide strategy.

The morning is shared by everyone. It opens with updates and news from across the partnership before moving into a keynote from an expert voice, giving colleagues something to think about, respond to and discuss. This is followed by a practitioner-led session that roots the ideas in real experience from a trust leadership context.

In the afternoon, colleagues come together for two hours of focused strategic discussion. The first hour covers operational matters and updates from across the MATs; the second returns to the morning's themes, asking what they mean for the decisions and priorities executive leaders are navigating right now. The day closes with a short plenary to draw threads together and look ahead to the next gathering.
